Our architect has made a splendid conversion, with wide doors, public and private rooms, a disabled toilet facility, and a patio beside the river Tavy. We have private rooms for special dinners or wedding receptions.

If you are walking westwards (or driving - it is one-way) along the main street of Tavistock,
with St Eustachius Church behind you, then aim for the world-famous grocery store - Crebers - on the right hand side (one of the white buildings in the distance of the picture above). Turn right at Crebers and the East Gate Cafe and Brasserie is 20 metres on the left.
Open all day - every day - for snacks or meals, also for private functions (by arrangement).
